Three people were arrested ahead of Celtic's Europa League clash with Utrecht at Celtic Park last night.
Police Scotland said the trio were detained near to the stadium as part of the police operation around the match, which Celtic won 4-2.
The suspects - aged 17, 36 and 37 - were detained over alleged assaults and possession of a bladed weapon.
The 36-year-old was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court this afternoon, while the other two suspects will appear in court at a later date.
Chief Superintendent Phil Davison said: “This behaviour has no place in football or in local communities and it will not be tolerated.
“A number of missiles and fireworks were thrown and four officers sustained minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
“Being assaulted is not part of the job for police officers. We take a zero tolerance approach to violence against emergency service workers and will hold those responsible to account.
“Subsequent enquiries will continue to identify offenders in the disorder.
“Police Scotland is committed to working with clubs to ensure safe match day experiences for all.”
A post on the Police Scotland Greater Glasgow Facebook page said: "Three people were arrested and charged following the Celtic v Utrecht match at Parkhead in Glasgow on Thursday, 29 January, 2026.
"A proportionate policing plan was in place and officers responded to reports of disorder as fans made their way to the stadium from the city centre.
"Three men were arrested near the stadium for offences including assault and carrying a bladed weapon. A 36-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 30 January. The two others, aged 17 and 37, will appear at a later date."
Celtic won the match, Martin O'Neill's first home match in Europe since 2004, thanks to an own goal and strikes from Benjamin Nygren, Arne Engels and Auston Trusty.
