A Scots school was evacuated during parents' night after smoke was seen billowing from the building. Dozens of parents were left standing in the playground at Stanley Primary School in Ardrossan. Winds of up to 75-miles-per hour are set to hit Scotland today - with the Met Office warning that roads could be closed and flights and ferries cancelled. The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning, between 4pm today, Thursday, November 27, 2025, and 11am tomorrow, Friday, November 28, 2025.
