Manhunt underway after man assaulted and robbed by thugs on Scots street

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in the street and robbed of his phone and wallet.
The 44-year-old was targeted by two young men in Falkirk yesterday evening. They followed him before attaccking him and stealing his mobile and wallet.
The incident took place between 6.50pm and 7pm in the town's Upper Newmarket Street, near the junction with Vicar Street.
The thugs responsible for the Wednesday, November 26, 2025 assault and robbery are described as being aged between 15 and 21.
The first suspect is described as wearing a grey hoody at the time, with the hood up, a black jacket, black trainers and grey joggers.
He also had on a black face mask and gloves.
The second suspect was wearing a grey tracksuit top with a large white flash, grey tracksuit bottoms, dark trainers and gloves.
A post on the Police Scotland Forth Valley Facebook page asked for potential witnesses to come forward.
Detective Constable Andy McLean said: “This was an unprovoked attack which left the victim injured and badly shaken.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident, or who has any CCTV footage which could assist, to please get in touch.
“There was also a lot of passing vehicles at the time of the incident so anyone with any dash-cam footage which may be relevant, is asked to contact police.”
