Two men have appeared in court after a bust which is said to have netted drugs worth £10million.

James Skinner and Jordan Wetheroll were remanded in custody during a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court this afternoon, Monday, December 22, 2025.

Skinner, 43, and Wetheroll, 22, both face two charges under Section 4(3)(b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 - being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

The pair, both of Glasgow, were arrested following a raid on a property in the city's Balintore Street yesterday, Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Police Scotland said heroin and cocaine were recovered and that the drugs were worth £10million.

They made no plea to the charges against them and were remanded in custody.

The case against them was continued for prosecutors to investigate further.

No future court dates have been set, but they are expected to appear in the dock again next week.

Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston said after the bust: “Drugs cause nothing but misery in our communities and we are dedicated to disrupting the activities of those involved in their supply.

“This is one of the largest drugs recoveries ever made in Scotland and comes off the back of a number of other major seizures throughout December.

"Significant recoveries such as this highlights how taking drugs off the streets is a priority for Police Scotland, and further underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Information from the public is the lifeblood which helps us recover illegal drugs and to identify those involved in their supply.

“Anyone with information or concerns about drugs should contact us via 101 or make a call to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
