Two men have been remanded in custody after being charged after police uncovered a £1.6million cannabis farm.
Viet Tran and Vinh Tran, of no fixed abode, were detained by Police Scotland officers during an operation in Dundee.
A police dog named Odin assisted officers in the raid, which uncovered around 2,000 cannabis plants.
The 43-year-olds were held in police custody after being arrested following a police operation in the north east city's Buchanan Street on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
They appeared at the city's sheriff court yesterday, Friday, February 13, 2026, where they both faced two charges.
They made no plea to claims they had produced a controlled drug and were concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
Both charges were brought under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and the cases against them were continued for prosecutors to investigate further.

No future court dates have been set, but they are expected to make a second appearance in connection with the case next week.
After their arrests, Detective Inspector Keir Smith said: “This was a significant recovery which highlights our continued commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
“Information from the public is vital to our work and we continue to urge people report any concerns to us.”
