The 15-year-old was set upon by the yobs in Ardnahoe Avenue, Glasgow, yesterday evening, Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

The youngster was rushed to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which have been described by Police Scotland as "serious".

The serious assault took place at around 6.10pm and officers are now appealing to the public for help to catch those responsible.

They left the scene - in the city's Toryglen area - on electric bikes and headed in the direction of Kerrycroy Avenue.

Detective Sergeant Geoff McKillop said: “This was a terrifying incident for the boy involved and he has been left with serious injuries.

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened, or anyone matching the descriptions, to contact officers.

“I’d also ask that those with private CCTV or dash-came footage in the local area review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
