Callous killer Lee Inglis admits tragic murder of much-loved mum Stacey Hogg

Serial domestic abuser thug Lee Inglis has admitted murdering much-loved mum Stacey Hogg in a jealous rage after learning she had a new boyfriend.
The callous killer said he had murdered his estranged partner and had planned to cut off her head because he would not let anyone else have her.
He was previously spared jail over a number of other attacks on Stacey, 35, some of which involved knives.
And he warned her of what was to come after finding out that she had embarked on a relationship with someone else.
He chillingly warned her "you shouldn't have told me, Stacey" and warned, "you know what's coming".
The jealous brute was remanded in custody after pleading guilty to her murder yesterday, Friday, October 9, 2026, at the High Court in Edinburgh.
Inglis, 39, was the subject of a Restriction of Liberty Order (RoLO) at the time of the killing, which was imposed as a punishment for a previous attack on Stacey.
The RoLO saw Inglis fitted with an electronic tag and having to abide by a daily curfew to remain within his home.
And the court heard he left his home just after 7am, when his curfew had lapsed for the day, to launch into his murderous attack.
He made the short journey from his parents' home to Stacey's and slipped into her home through the back door.
Once at the property, in Hawick, in the Scottish Borders, he attacked Stacey after she had headed downstairs.

He repeatedly stabbed her in the neck in a frenzied attack which saw her trying in vain to defend herself.
Stacey had managed to dial 999 on the day in question - June 25 this year - and was heard to mention her kids to the operator, before the call dropped.
Inglis used a kitchen knife to attack the mother-of-three, then left her dying on her bathroom floor before fleeing.
He then headed home in his bloodstained clothes, left the blood-covered knife on the kitchen worktop. and told his mum what he's done.
He told her: "Phone the police because I have just killed Stacey."
She dialled 999 and officers raced to Stacey's home, finding her face down in a pool of blood and administering CPR.
Paramedics arrived and they tried to revive Stacey but she was pronounced dead, sparking a police probe into her death.
Part-time groundsman Inglis was arrested by police and told them he had "been triggered" by the fact she had a new partner.
The court heard he told officers that Stacey was "his possession" and said that "if he could not have her, no one could".
In October 2024 he assaulted her with a knife, resulting in them separating and the Restriction of Liberty Order he broke on the day he killed her.
In 2022 he was also spared jail over an attack on Stacey which saw him strangling her and threatening to kill her with a kitchen knife.
Inglis will be sentenced over Stacey's murder at the High Court in Edinburgh next month, when he will be jailed for life.
