Drug mob lieutenants linked to notorious Scottish gangsters Jamie "Iceman" Stevenson and Stephen "Jimmy" Jamieson have been spared jail over a savage attack which left a man scarred for life.

Two of Jamieson's brothers, his dad, and a member of his drug dealing gang dodged prison today, Friday, October 9, 2026, after being sentenced following the assault and the resulting fallout.

Street valium kingpin Gary Jamieson and cocaine dealer Steven Caddis set upon their victim at a remote cottage amid a row over a botched car repair.

Paisley Sheriff Court heard the victim had been tasked with repairing Caddis' wife's car.

After the work was carried out, it burst into flames with her inside.

Caddis, 47, and Gary, 40, then went to the mechanic's home and attacked him with a brick, leaving him with an injury requiring stitches, which has left a scar.

Jimmy's dad, George, 61, and brother, Darren, 31, were then arrested for assaulting police officers investigating the attack.

The lashed out at police officers who had turned up at Gary's home in Glasgow's Priesthill area with a warrant to search the property.

Caddis is one of Jimmy's closest allies, and they were jailed together in 2009 after police busted their multi-million pound drug ring in a sting similar to hit American TV show The Wire.

Jimmy is a trusted associate of Jamie Stevenson, who is also nicknamed Bull.

Stevenson is serving a 16-year sentence for trying to import £100m worth of cocaine into Scotland from South America.

Jimmy is now serving a six-year sentence after being convicted over another multi-million pound drug racket.

He was caught after returning to his life of crime when he was released from the jail term he received alongside Caddis.

Caddis and Jimmy's brothers and dad pleaded guilty to assaults previously and returned to the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court today to learn their fate.

They attacked their victim at the cottage in question in Inchinnan, near Glasgow, on January 17 last year.

Caddis' lawyer, Solicitor Advocate Calum Weir, said his actions were "to his regret and shame".

He added: "He felt concerns over his partner's safety were not being taken seriously.

"He will not find himself in this situation again and he will exercise better control in the future."

Sheriff James Mulgrew said: "Steven Caddis and Gary Jamieson, you both pleaded guilty to a concerning incident of assault.

"It involved injury and permanent disfigurement, and I note the injury involved two stitches after you struck the complainer on the head with a brick."

Caddis was ordered to carry out 75 hours of unpaid work, reduced from 100, within six months.

Gary was told he will be supervised by social workers for 12 months and has to abide by a 10pm to 7am daily curfew for four weeks, reduced from six weeks.

George and Darren were each fined £225, reduced from £300, and both ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Gary was previously jailed for four years and six months after being unmasked as the head of a gang caught flooding Scotland with fake valium pills Etizolam, worth £400,000.

He has also been pictured alongside Jamie Stevenson's stepson, Gerard Carbin.

In 2009, Caddis was jailed for six years, while Jimmy was jailed for eight years, over a drug gang which bought, bulked out and sold millions of pounds worth of drugs.

Drug lord Jimmy was jailed for six years earlier this year after being extradited from Dubai and admitting dealing cocaine, heroin and Etizolam.

And Stevenson is serving 16 years for orchestrating a plot to smuggle cocaine worth £100m from South America in boxes of bananas.
