Frantic search for missing English teen as parents says they may be between three Scottish cities

A search is underway to track down a missing English teenager - as one of their parents says they could be between three Scottish cities.

Merseyside Police appealed to the public today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, for information on Emi Glove-Wade.

The force said the 15-year-old was last seen yesterday morning and has links to Glasgow and Inverness.

But a Facebook post from one of Emi's parents has said they also go by the name Keiran and may also be in Perth.

The Facebook post said: "Over 24 hours have passed since we last had contact with our child.

"Only known in a private circle as Emi but otherwise known as Keiran. From what we have found so far we suspect he is between Glasgow, Inverness or Perth.

"Please let me know if you have any information.

"Also wont be wearing school uniform the only item of clothing we know he is wearing is a pair of black and white chunky sole converse."

Another relative wrote online: "My 15-year-old nephew has gone missing from St Helens in Merseyside. He has been missing since 8am yesterday (02/02/2026)

"We have been advised by one of his friends that he had a train ticket from St Helens to Glasgow.

"He is a massive train enthusiast so this seems the most likely thing he has done. If anyone has seen him or has any information no matter how small I would really appreciate a message or even contact the police.

"We are out of our minds with worry."

The missing person appeal from Merseyside Police said: "Please share and help us find a missing teenager from St Helens.

"Emi Glover-Wade, 15, was last seen yesterday morning (Monday 2 February) and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find her.

"She is described as being around 5ft 3in tall, has a slim build, shoulder length hair and wears glasses for reading.

"When last seen she was wearing a school uniform, including a black blazer and grey jumper.

"She was also wearing a Linkin Park T-shirt, dark trousers and black Converse trainers with rainbow laces.

"Emi has links to Glasgow and Inverness. If you see her, please call 999 so we can make sure she’s safe and well."
