A missing persons probe is underway after a man vanished from a Scots city on Monday afternoon.

Brian Chalmers was last seen leaving the St Enoch Centre, in Glasgow, at around 12.25pm on February 16.

He was spotted walking in the direction of Argyle Street, via Dunlop Street, and he was later spotted on a bus.

CCTV picked him up getting the number 61 bus, which links Summerston with Sandyhills, on Glassford Street.

The 22-year-old is slim, around 5ft 8ins tall, with short dark hair and was wearing a blue Trespass jacket when he was last seen.

He also had on, a black hooded Adidas jogging top, matching black trousers with white stripes, and was carrying a black backpack with a ‘train’ sticker on it.

Inspector Eric McNaught said: "We are concerned for Brian's welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible.

"Brian is non-verbal and isn't able to communicate well, so I am asking anyone who may have seen him to contact us immediately.

"I would also ask anyone who was travelling on the number 61 bus around that time who may have seen where he went to get in touch."
