Man back in dock over incidents targeting Daniel crime clan members

A man has been fully committed for trial over claims key figures in the Daniel crime clan have been targeted.
Ross Gisbey was detained following a probe into incidents targeting high-ranking Daniel mob members Robert Daniel and Ronnie Daniel.
Men with weapons understood to be looking for Robert, 51, and Ronnie, 41, descended on a property in Curzon Street, Glasgow, last month.
There were no reports of any incidents and an investigation into the incident was launched.
At 1.20pm the same day, a car was rammed into a property in Low Borland Way, near Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire.
The vehicle fled the scene and again police were called to attend the incident, which did not leave anyone injured.
Gisbey was arrested during the investigation and made his second court appearance in connection with the case at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday, Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The 30-year-old made no plea to the three charges he faced - culpable and reckless conduct and danger to life, wilful fireraising and carrying an offensive weapon.
Gisbey, of Greenock, was fully committed for trial and remanded in custody during the private hearing.
No future court dates have been set.
Gisbey was first remanded in custody over the case during his initial court case in connection with the allegations last week.
