A man has appeared in court after being arrested over incidents targeting key figures in the Daniel crime clan.

Ross Gisbey was arrested following incidents targeting high-ranking Daniel mob members Robert Daniel and Ronnie Daniel.

He is now behind bars after appearing in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court today, Monday, September 21, 2026

He faced three charges during the hearing - culpable and reckless conduct and danger to life, wilful fireraising and carrying an offensive weapon.

The 30-year-old was arrested by police probing incidents in Glasgow and Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, last month.

Men with weapons understood to be looking for Robert, 51, and Ronnie, 41, descended on a property in Curzon Street, Glasgow, at around 8.35am on Friday, August 21.

There were no reports of any incidents and an investigation into the incident was launched.

At 1.20pm the same day, a car was rammed into a property in Low Borland Way, Eaglesham.

The vehicle fled the scene and again police were called to attend the incident, which did not leave anyone injured.

During the probe Gisbey, of Greenock, was arrested and he was held in police custody until appearing in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court today.

He made no plea to the three charges against him and Sheriff Mungo Bovey KC continued the case for prosecutors to investigate further.

No future court dates have been set, but Gisbey is expected to make his second appearance in connection with the case next week.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.35am on Friday, 21 August, 2026, we received a report of men with weapons at a property in Curzon Street, Glasgow.
