Murder suspect makes second court appearance over death of tragic Stacey Hogg

Murder accused Lee Inglis has made his second court appearance over the death of tragic mum-of-three Stacey Hogg.
Inglis appeared in the dock at Jedburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, Friday, July 3, 2026, to be fully committed for trial.
The 39-year-old, of Hawick, in the Scottish Borders, was once again remanded in custody after making no plea to the single charge of murder he faces.
No future court dates have been set in the case, which sees Inglis accused of murdering the 35-year-old last month.
She was found dead at a property in McLagan Drive, Hawick, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, after police were called to the property.
Officers were called at around 7.20am that day and an investigation into Stacey's death was launched.
During the probe, suspicion fell on Inglis and he-old was arrested and charged and held in police custody.
Police Scotland said he was due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court in connection with the case on Friday, June 26, 2026.
But the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service said he actually appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
He was remanded in custody at that first hearing and made his second appearance exactly a week later.
