Scots sex beast urged 12-year-old girl to dog school to meet him

A sex offender who told a '12-year-old girl' to miss school so she could meet up with him and have sex has been spared jail.
Robert Gallacher told the youngster they could go "somewhere quiet" in his Audi A3 and that the red vehicle had a "big back seat".
He believed the girl was called Molly and that she was only 12.
But Molly was not a real schoolgirl, and was actually an undercover law enforcement officer allowed to sting Scottish sex offenders online.
The 40-year-old had no idea that Molly was actually an officer trained and authorised to snare paedophiles via the internet.
Gallacher, of Kilmarnock, sent the girl a hoard of messages from his home in the East Ayrshire town.
He planned to meet her at Ferguslie Park Avenue, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, where police officers found him waiting for her on the day they had arranged to meet.
Paisley Sheriff Court heard he asked the fictitious youngster about her sexual experiences and asked her to send him indecent images of herself.
He spoke about how attractive she was and talked about engaging in sexual activity with her should they meet up.
He said he wanted her to perform oral sex on him and that they could then have sex in his car.
The court heard he sent the messages to the girl between May 27, 2025, and June 18, 2025.
It was on June 19, 2025, that he tried to meet the non-existent child to engage in "unlawful sexual activity".
Gallacher admitted his guilt during a pre-trial hearing earlier this year, pleading guilty to two charges.
He admitted breaching the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 by causing a person pretending to be a child to receive a sexual communication.
And he admitted breaking the Protection of Children and Prevention of Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2005 by attempting to meet a person purporting to be under 16.
Sentencing was deferred for background reports to be prepared by social workers, to assist the sheriff presiding over proceedings in deciding how to deal with the case.
When Gallacher returned to the dock earlier this month to learn his fate, his lawyer said he had admitted his guilt when interviewed by police officers.
After hearing that Gallacher had been found in the car where he had told the non-existent youngster he would meet her, Sheriff Eoin McGinty said: "He was caught red handed."
He told Gallacher he had been persuaded he could "pull back from what may have inevitably been a custodial sentence."
He placed Gallacher on a three-year-long Community Payback Order, which will see him supervised by social workers for that period of time.
He also ordered him to carry out 300 hours of unpaid work in the next 18 months, and placed him on the Sex Offenders' Register.
And he made him the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, placing limits on his online and offline freedoms and banning him from deleting his internet history.
And he warned Gallacher he could yet be jailed for the offences, if he fails to comply with the punishment.
He said: "This is a direct alternative to a custodial sentence.
"If you breach if, you will go to prison if it's me that's here dealing with it."
