Sick Scots sex beast caged for more than 10 years for abusing boys

A sex beast who abused schoolbody across Scotland has been jailed for more than 10 years for his crime.

Ross Brogan preyed on the youngsters between 2021 and 2024 and was sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

The 31-year-old, of Glasgow, had previously admitted six sexual charges involving school aged boys.

When he returned to the dock today, a judge caged him for 10 years and six months for the offences.

Detective Inspector Stephen Palmer said: "Brogan is a depraved sexual offender who gave no thought to his victims, just using them for his sexual gratification.

"These boys have been deeply impacted by his actions and I hope this sentence brings them some comfort.

"I want to acknowledge the strength of all who provided information to police in this case. Brogan's conviction is down to them.

"Police Scotland will fully investigate abuse wherever it occurs and whoever the perpetrator is, no matter how long ago it happened.

"I'd encourage anyone with concerns about sexual abuse to contact officers or one of our support services who will listen and investigate."
