This is the sickening selfie crazed killer Jordan Honeyman sent as he tortured tragic victim Alan Lawson to death after a week-long drink and drug bender.
The snap shows Honeyman with blood on his forehead, bridge of his nose, nose, cheeks, lips, chin, neck, and torso.
It was taken from a video he sent another man, as he live streamed part of the frenzied, prolonged killing on Snapchat.
Another screengrab from the videos showed Lawson lying stricken on the floor, in the foetal position, wearing only socks.
His body was covered in blood in the picture, while bloodsoaked items could be seen lying on the wooden laminate flooring, which was also covered in blood.
Honeyman had previously been jailed for an attack on Lawson and targeted him again after being released from prison.
The thug chained Lawson to a radiator and attacked him over two or three days, butchering him with an axe and a machete.
He stripped the 36-year-old naked, and jumped onto his head and body from a staircase - before using superglue to try and seal his wounds.
The 31-year-old then forced Lawson into a shower to clean him of blood after the February 2024 attack, which took place at Honeyman's home in Largs, Ayrshire.
He then enlisted the help of others to take Lawson on a 14-mile trip along the Ayrshire coast to the seaside town of Saltcoats.
They dumped Lawson, who was clinging to life, at his home in the town's New England Road, where he was later found by his mother.
The alarm was raised and Lawson was rushed to hospital and placed on life support, with medics battling to save his life.
But he passed away two days later when his ventilator was switched off when it became clear he would not be able to recover from his devastating injuries.
The screenshots from the videos made their way into the hands of the police and were used as evidence against Honeyman at his trial.
A source said: "Honeyman had been on a bender for a week - drinking and smoking crack. He just lost it and launched into the most vicious, horrendous attack on poor Alan.
"He had him chained up to a radiator and had attacked him repeatedly with an axe and a machete over two or three days.
"He split his skull open with an axe, slashed him all over his back with the machete and used superglue to try and repair his wounds.
"When the booze and drugs wore off and he came to his senses he realised what he'd done and panicked, realising he had to do something about it all.
"So he took Alan back to Alan's house and just dumped him there, leaving him for dead."
Honeyman, who had been jailed for three years for an attack on Lawson in 2022, was convicted of murder on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and jailed for a minimum of 25 years.
Judge Lord Arthurson said: "This crime was exceptionally callous. The violence was designed to cause him particular pain and were nothing less than acts of torture.
"The screenshots shown in court taken from the video in the house of you and your victim made clear that you revelled in what you had done.
"The image of you half naked and smeared in the victim's blood was resonant of a scene from a sort of dystopian work of fiction."
He added that those who helped Honeyman "should be thoroughly ashamed."
Detective Chief Inspector Ally Semple said: "This was a shocking and violent attack which has been devastating for the family and friends of Alan Lawson.
"Honeyman will now face the consequences of his actions.
"While no outcome can truly ease the pain of losing Alan, we hope this conviction and sentencing will bring some comfort to his loved ones."
